This is an independent guide, not an official publication. Everything here is drawn from public records, agency pages, local organisations and openly licensed photography. Where the record is uncertain, we say so.
Method
Population, housing and income figures come from the U.S. Census Bureau's 2020 decennial count and American Community Survey estimates, cross-checked against Data USA. Distances and drive times were calculated with OSRM, an open-source road router, from the community centre to each destination. They are planning estimates, not promises.
Historical detail is drawn primarily from Arizona Highways' September 1993 feature, the Arizona Memory Project's community profile, Mohave County's community pages and the Dolan Springs Community Council's own history. Where those sources disagree — most notably the prospector's first name — the guide presents both rather than inventing certainty.
Opening hours, phone numbers and links were checked in October 2026. Rural services change; always confirm before travelling.
